Passionate followers of the actress are calling for that a man who breached a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the Australian man pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last December.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Several followers blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote another message on Instagram.

Several fans also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore supporters had queued up to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part version of the well-known theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a derivative of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten award recognitions, winning two for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
